Every second Tuesday of the month I attend WordPress Sheffield, I don’t usually blog about them (before we get into this post, I promise to blog about every one that I attend from now on however, as they often have some great speakers and content), but this one was special. It was our first annual summer WordPress barbecue (BBQ).
WordPress Sheffield was setup by co-founder of my WordPress agency Make Do, Kimb Jones and is supported by Make Do, the hosting firm Pipe Ten, often with space provided by Sheffield Hallam University.
We then all headed to Reds True BBQ to begin the event, where there was much WordPress chatter, some general chatter, and most importantly of all lots and lots of food!
I had my camera to hand, but I’m afraid I put it away before the bulk of the attendees arrived. More attendees showed up then had booked, so we were cramping up in the bar area, and my camera lens was starting to intrude.
This was my first time in Reds, and if you are a meat lover, I would highly recomend the brisket.
